Any professional masters students are not allowed as regular students. Regular Masters Student means after completing bachelor degree, they are doing their masters in the same subject and in the same university.

1. Introduction to SPSS: Overview, overview of syntax and its advantages, a sample session, getting help, comparing available software/packages for data analysis. Reading data in SPSS: Data entry, enter categorical and continuous data, imputing raw data files (from Excel, CSV and other format), exporting data files (to Excel, CSV and another format).
2. Data Management with SPSS: Creating and recoding variables, Sorting, Ordering, Appending, Merging data sets. Computing and recoding variables, IF-else statement, Sort and select cases, dealing with date variable, Weighting and splitting data, restructuring data, creating dummy variable and multiple response group.
3. Exploratory Data Analysis with SPSS: Creating and describing basic and advanced statistical graphs & charts, Bar diagram, Pie Chart, Histogram, Scatter Diagram, Summary Statistics, Frequency distribution, One-way table, Two-way tables (Cross table), Descriptive Statistics, Measures of Central tendency, Measures of Dispersion, Measures of Distribution (Skewness & Kurtosis), Exploring data, findings outliers, Box whisker plot
4. Hypothesis testing in SPSS: Statistical hypothesis, Null hypothesis, Alternative hypothesis, Simple hypothesis, Composite hypothesis, One-tailed test, Two-tailed test, Test statistic, p-value, One sample t-test, Two-sample t-test, Independent sample t-test, Measures of Association, Chi-square test, Analysis of Variance (ANOVA)
5. Correlation and Simple Regression analysis in SPSS: Correlation analysis, Pearson’s Correlation Coefficient, Spearmen Correlation Coefficient, Regression analysis, Regression Coefficient, Coefficient of Determination, Simple linear regression analysis
6. Advanced Regression analysis in SPSS: Multiple Regression Analysis and Binary Logistic Regression Analysis
7. Model building and Model Diagnostics in SPSS: Model building and model diagnostics in SPSS, handling confounding and effect modifier
8. Reliability and Factor Analysis in SPSS: Reliability and Item Analysis with Cronbach's Alpha, Factor Analysis, KMOs test, Factor Loadings, Rotated Component Matrix.
